Obtaining your wedding license in Beaufort County, South Carolina

You will pay between $50 and $95, depending on your state and county of residence.
Fees must be paid in CASH ONLY in the EXACT amount.
There is a 24 hour waiting period.
You must be at least 18 years old with valid ID.

Out of Town License Application

If you do not reside in South Carolina and do not have adequate time to apply for your license during wedding week, you may choose to apply on line through the Charleston Probate Court. The process is all done on line with the final 3 pages of paperwork emailed to you. You will bring those 3 pages to me at the wedding. Go to:
